New Layout

Felt it was time to change my layout again, this one I created myself, it was pretty simple. I made a new header/banner to go with it, which was more complicated. I wanted to include most of favorite people and characters, which turned out to be an impossible task lol. It was tough, I had to cut a bunch of people because it became over-crowded, but I'm still happy with how it turned out :)

I saw The Dark Knight this weekend, and absolutley loved it, it was definitely worth the hype IMO. I was very inspired by not just Heath's performance, but the entire cast's, so I worked on a couple of walls from the film. First is Heath Ledger as the Joker (b&w & color versions), and then one featuring Batman and others:

And next is The Incredible Hulk, which I saw a few weeks ago and absolutely loved as well:

My productivity is finally starting to return. Though I'm all over the place right now, so I'm just going with whatever inspires me atm lol. But I should be working on more stuff now and updating more frequently :)

Bday & New Fandom

A late update, but I wanted to post the wallpaper I made for Liv's birthday :)

And a wall I made of my new fandom, The Middleman ;) It's based on the comic of the same name, but the cool thing is the creator of the comic also created the series, so it's faithfully translated. And of course I can't escape anything comic book/superhero related lol. It's actually pretty good and well written so far, so just gonna see it where it goes from here :) And it's a lot easier keeping up with a new show from the beginning lol!

Wanted to post an update of stuff I've worked on the past few weeks. All are random subjects I've been inspired by recently lol. Back with a semi-large update. I've lost my Star Wars muse atm, so for now I've just been working on random graphics. I actually made some icons for the first time in ages lol. They honestly aren't any good, but thought I'd give it a try anyway. I wanted a few of Nat from the Cannes premieres, and also one of Liv from her C Magazine photoshoot:

Iron Man

Taking a break from my Star Wars work, I wanted to make something from Iron Man :) I saw it over the weekend and I totally loved it, definitely one of the best comic book movies I've ever seen. And seeing as I've seen them all, that's definitely high praise lol ;) So I made a Tony Stark wallpaper, in 2 sizes, 800 x 600 and 1024 x 768:

Haven't posted in a while, been a bit of a slow period lately. I do have a few things I've finished over the past couples of weeks, wasn't enough for a whole update, so I'm lumping them all together lol. Got three walls I finished - one of Nat, one Padme & Anakin, and one of Anakin alone:

Got an overdue update of some stuff I worked on the past couple of weeks. Kinda slowed down on the productive pace I was on a little while ago, but I still managed to finish a few things. First are three walls, one from the movie Jumper, and two from Spiderman 3:

Two new walls today, both Scarlett Johansson :) Scarlett and Nat's promotion tour for The Other Boleyn Girl has sorta made her my new crush atm lol. Just an update on some of the things I've worked on this week :) First are two walls, one from the new Terminator show, the other one of Kirsten :D I've been trying to feature some new people in my work, but her new pics were too good to pass up lol.

Next are the two vids I made from Casino Royale :) The first one is kinda trippy, with a lot of effects and stuff, with all the hot scenes from the movie lol. The song is Go With the Flow by Queens of the Stone Age. The second one is really fast paced, with all the action scenes. The song is The Pretender by the Foo Fighters, and it's one of my favorite videos I've made so far :D

Here are three new walls I finished over the past few days. One is Kate Beckinsale, one Eva Green, and the other is from Casino Royale :) I finally bought the dvd (I know, took so long lol). Anyway, I loved the movie of course, so I attempted to make a wall. Tried something a little different, using these vector brushes I found on deviantart. I actually think it turned out kinda well :) So here they are :

I've finally gotten back to working on graphics again, and decided I want to try something new. I have long talked about how I wanted to start featuring some new people in my work, but I never got around to it. Mainly because I only get inspired by the same ladies lol, so I tend to just follow that inspiration. But I recently had the idea to begin doing a series of walls centered around new ladies and movies I haven't done before. But in order to do that, I am making the size 800x600, because I realized how difficult it is to fill a 1024x768 space, which is often why it takes me so long. So this way I will be able to concentrate on a smaller space, and get more done :)

So anyway, the first one I made is of Angelina, I think it pretty much speaks for itself ;)

Two new vids

Here are my two latest vids from AWE. The first one is dedicated to Will and Liz :) The song is Valentine's Day by Linkin Park. The vid ended up being too short and I wasn't able to fit in all the scenes I wanted to, but I still think it turned out ok:

The second one is just more a collection of some of my favorite scenes :D This one is a lot more uptempo than the first two, and my fav of the three. And no surprise, the song is by the Chili Peppers, Torture Me ;)

I still have a few scenes I haven't used yet, so I will try to make a fourth vid :D And I have some free time again now, so I will try to get busy on some graphics as well :)

New PotC vid

Finally got my AWE dvd for Christmas, so that of course means I get to make some vids from it ;) I wanted to make some a while ago from this movie, but decided to wait until I got the dvd, so I could be sure the quality would be good.

So anyway, this one is entitled Lonely Souls, the song is by UNKLE featuring Richard Ashcroft. It's a long song, almost 9 minutes to be exact. I wasn't going to use the whole song at first, but then I thought there were certain parts of the movie that really fit the music. In particular, Jack's scene with the rock/crab in the Locker. I think the song really helps emphasize the loneliness of the place. So this vid focuses on the sad, slower parts of the film, and I think it works somehow lol. Anyway, here it is:

If you notice some of the key scenes from the film missing, it's because I'm saving them for future vids ;) Working on some new ones right now, and some new fan art too :)
